I have a newly set up studio space in North Hollywood and am trying to get some fresh new artists in. I recently moved back down to LA after a long stint in the Bay Area working as an audio engineer at various major studios, have worked with artists like Mistah FAB, Richie Rich, Sky Balla, Philthy Rich, Lil Rue, and many more. My new spot is perfect for rappers/singers who want to skip the major studios and record in a chill environment, will get you that professional sound for cheap. I’ve built a fully acoustically treated and very tight sounding vocal booth, and my main mic is a modded clone of the legendary Sony C800G, guaranteed to get you that bright, modern sound. Used by major artists like Drake, Kanye, Rihanna, Eminem, Cash Money, Dr Dre, Mariah Carey, etc etc, this is THE mic for rap, pop, or r&b vocals. You won’t get this sound anywhere else for this type of price. I have a Mac Pro which I run Pro Tools and Ableton Live with all the best plugins (Softube, Soundtoys, Waves, Antares Autotune, Brainworx, Native Instruments, and many many more), and all our recordings go through a Neve 1073 Style Preamp.

Rates:

-Recording - $40/hr -A mix/master can be done during session time, or if more attention to detail is required I can do mix/master in my own time for a flat rate: -Full Mix - $120/song for beat/vocal mix, $150-200/song for full trackout mix. All flat rate mixing is done on my own time, turnaround usually 4-5 days. Limit of 2 revisions per song, and you will receive a high quality wav file and mp3. -Mastering - $30 per song for singles, price negotiable for EP’s and albums. All digital master, get your tracks loud, clear, and radio ready.
