Description
The Barber Shop is a perfect place to record, produce, write and perform music, VOD or a podcast. Set in the Echo Park hills across from Elysian Park, the studio can accommodate a solo music producer up to a full live band.
The tracking room has a drum set, guitars, basses, amps, mics, effects pedals, keyboards, probably most of what you could need.
The studio is setup with a Universal Audio Apollo interface and an SSL Six console. A great vocal chain with a Telefunken AK-47 microphone and an Empirical Labs Distressor. As well as a UA 610 channel strip and a DBX compressor. You can track digitally or to tape using the Fostex sixteen track and two track. Up to 16 channels simultaneously. The setup also allows for an easy hookup for someone looking to track on their own laptop, or equipment. A new pair of Dynaudio monitors is set up in the control room for accurate mixing. The studio has a tracking space big enough for a full band and a control room with a window view. Custom sound baffles let you seperate sounds or record tight dry vocals.
To top it off their is a stunning outdoor space to help you relax. Step outside and enjoy the mountain view while taking work breaks.
