Formerly called Longhorn Sound Studio, Rose Hill Recorders offers the finest in modern digital and analog technologies. We are located on the outer edge of the Houston metro area, just 1 mile off the Grand Parkway. Out facility boasts two stellar control rooms: Studio A is cutting edge, extensive modular hybrid setup based around Pro Tools Ultimate HDX, Dual Slate Raven MTi2’s, twenty channels of Audient Analog Summing, a selection of high end outboard gear. Our newly constructed Studio B is based around a 48 channel Audient 8024 mixing console w/ flying faders. The two control rooms share a fantastically tuned live room, and a large isolation/vocal booth. A full PA is always set up and ready to go.
Studio A (includes engineer/producer):
$75 per hour for up to four hours. $300 per half day (five hours). - This is discount lowers the rate to $60 per hour. $500 per day (ten hours). - This discount lowers the rate to $50 per hour.
If recording full, multi-miked drums, or a live band, a mandatory staff assistant engineer is required. At least a half day is of booking is required. Staff assistant rates ranges per engineer. Please call for more information (832-463-7873).
Rental Rates (includes mandatory staff assistant):
$50 per hour for up to four hours. $200 per half day (five hours). - This discount lowers the rate to $40 per hour. $350 per day (ten hours). - This discount lowers the rate to a mere $35 per hour.
Longer lockout rates are available for both recording and rental at additional discounted prices.
