River Studios Hampshire (Black Room Studio)

River Studios is the South’s premier professional music complex. The facility boasts 10 rooms spread over two floors in character Victorian building that has been lovingly refurbished with extensive soundproofing and acoustic treatment.

We are only 1.5hrs away from London via train and close to both Bournemouth and Portsmouth, vibrant in the Southern Coast of England.

We are offering a rare opportunity for someone to sub-let of our two outstanding studios spaces in our Black Room and/or Blue Room recording studios. The studios are fully equipped with a rich selection of hardware and software for a minimum of a 6 month let with potential to have 24-hour access.

Suitable for producers, composers, mix engineers and anyone who needs regular access to a high spec music production studio and wish to save the engineering rates and work by themselves or their own engineers.

With 24 hour CCTV surveillance, a communal area with tea/coffee making facilities and reception service 3 midday to 10:30 pm on weekdays and Saturdays 9.30 am till 4 pm, as well as parking space, it is an ideal location for any musical and artistic project.

Our Black Room recording studio benefits from industry-standard equipment such as SE and Telefunken tube microphones; Universal Audio, SSL XLogic & Focusrite ISA outboard; and Genelec monitoring. A full equipment list is available on our website.

Our studios offer a creative and inspiring space that would be perfect for a freelance recording/mixing/mastering engineer, teacher or professional composer looking to work in a professional music complex.
