THE FEE IS WITH ENGINEER! Pancake Studios is a full service music production team lead by Executive Sound Engineer and Producer Jonathan Vergara. Pancake Studios offers unlimited services in recording, mixing, mastering and production. The Pancake team is eager, creative, and experienced with multiple musical endeavors/projects.

Pancake Studios currently resides in two locations in Park Slope, Brooklyn. One location is the Living Hope church on 16th St. and 5th Ave. in Park Slope, Brooklyn and the other mixing, mastering, editing, and overdubbing suite is located between 10th avenue and Prospect Park West.

With the acoustic space of a church, its vaulted ceiling makes it ideal for recording clear, unmuddled, vibrant, and dynamic audio. The church hall is big enough to record a full live band and more.

Being a small DIY business we first and foremost create and record/produce artists because we “eat, sleep, and breath” music. We genuinely care about every artist who puts their heart and soul into their unique creations.

Pancake Studios has a huge roster of talented musicians who have included bassist John Ehlers, violist Dwayne Beach, violinist Concetta Abate, pianist Tamara Kachelmeier, guitarists Alex Sherba & Spencer LeGalop, drummer Jonathan Vergara, saxophonist Roy Nathasin, and cellist Ariana Karp.

Pancake Studios is outfitted with Apollo 16 Universal Audio, Black Lion Audio products (White Sparrow A to D converter, Signature series 002, MK2 summing mixer, AGB mix bus compressor, B12 Pre Amp) Pro Tools 10 & 11, Logic Pro X, Melodyne, Sibelius, Finale, WAV Plug-ins, and Komplete 10 Ultimate.

Hourly rate: $60/hr - Studio type: Home Studio, Mid-Level, Top-Line.
