PLEASE NOTE BEFORE BOOKING:

We have a firm 10 person MAX capacity and cannot accommodate groups larger than this. Failure to follow our capacity limit will result in an immediate termination of your session with no refund.

Our studio is a part of a growing community of artists, musicians and entrepreneurs and we ask that all guests of our studio please be respectful of the other tenants in our building. Please no loitering/smoking outside the building before or after your session and keep voices and noise to a minimum during check in/check out to avoid disrupting other professionals while they are trying to work. Thank you!

THE STUDIO:

Make Life Studio is Brooklyn’s newest creative hideaway located in Clinton Hill near the Navy Yard. Our studio is the perfect intimate music den for recording, photo/video shoots, podcasts, songwriting sessions, meetings and live performances. This railroad style suite features a dedicated listening room with boutique wet bar, a central control room separated by custom sliding doors and a newly added live room with iso booth. Inside you’ll find a tasteful assortment of instruments and recording equipment and fully customizable Phillips Hue Lighting throughout the entire space.

Guests can create and manage projects using our fully loaded studio iMac, or those wishing to bring their own laptops, phones or other gear can easily connect to our monitor playback system which feeds all rooms. Additionally, guests also have communal access to a fully finished rooftop deck with sweeping 360 views of Brooklyn and Manhattan skyline. Rooftop access is restricted to recreational use only and productions on the rooftop are prohibited.

COVID-19 NOTICE:

Thank you for your interest in Make Life Studio. In response to the current COVID-19 pandemic, Make Life Studio has taken several necessary preventative steps to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests. Our suite is now 100% autonomous with remote check in. Guests will be sent operational instructions upon booking with custom keypad code for entry during their allotted time. Please take a moment to review our new guest guidelines and sanitization measures and feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns regarding your session.

GUEST GUIDELINES & PROCEDURES:

• All guests are required to wear masks in public spaces and common areas throughout the building including but not limited to: (Stairwell, Elevator, Hallways, Rooftop, Lounge & Bathrooms)
• We recommend that all guests wear a mask inside the studio during their session (with the exception of singers while performing).
• If you are feeling sick or have a fever in the days leading up to your session, please submit a request to cancel for a full refund.
• Guests are still able to use our microphones at their own risk, but we recommend bringing your own microphone to help prevent spread.
• We ask that Guests please wash or sanitize hands immediately upon entering the studio. Please avoid touching anything until you have thoroughly taken this precaution.

STUDIO SANITIZATION:

• Make Life Engineers booked for sessions will wear a mask at all times.
• Studio and equipment will be thoroughly wiped down and sanitized before and after ever session.
• Sessions will be booked with an hour gap between to ensure proper sanitizing of all surfaces.
• Hand sanitizer will be available in live room and control room.
• Sanitization wipes are available below the sink so guests can personally wipe surfaces if they desire.
• AC filter will be cleaned regularly.

Hourly rate: $50/hr - Accommodates up to 10 people - Minimum booking: 2 hours - Booking notice: Same day accepted - Studio type: Rehearsal, Mid-Level, Top-Line, Podcast.
