HOME MUSIC PROJECT STUDIO

This room is not “pro” but is a very good “home” studio Pro Tools setup. Includes: • 10’ x 15’ soundproofed room, with double drywall hung on resilient channels for maximum soundproofing. This room is in my garage and is accessible through an outside garage door. There are brand new rugs on the floor, four sconce lights for lighting (on a dimmer) and four dedicated circuits for electricity • A brand new 27” iMac 3.4GHz quad-core Intel Core i5 processor with 6MB L3 cache, 8GB of 1600MHz DDR3 memory; running Mac OS 10.9 (Mavericks). This computer is solely dedicated to Pro Tools and is seamless and lightning fast even when running all 16 tracks in PT • A second, additional 19” monitor is available so Mix and Edit can be in separate windows/monitors • Pro Tools LE 10. Plug-ins are what came with the Mbox (Xpand2 midi instruments, Dverb, EQ, compressor/expander, Eleven Free guitar amp emulator, plus a few more) • 2 KRK Rokit 5 studio monitors • MBox 2 audio interface http://www.avid.com/US/products/mbox/specifications • M-Audio usb MIDI keyboard controller - pretty basic model. http://www.amazon.com/M-Audio-Keystudio-49-key-Controller-Keyboard/dp/B00125OD9Q • all cables to above hardware • YOU MUST BRING A PORTABLE HARD DRIVE TO COPY YOUR FILES TO (do not leave them on the studio’s computer) • YOU MUST BRING your own microphones, but I do have one mic stand available to use • There is a short contract to be signed which makes the renter responsible for any damages, but not for malfunctions of the equipment listed above.

GUITAR AMP AND SPEAKER available: • 4X12 guitar amp with vintage 30-watt Celestion speakers • vintage Peavey 50-watt guitar tube amp (may need new tubes soon, it’s very “battle worn”).

IMPORTANT: INSTRUMENTS SHOWN IN THE PHOTOS ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR RENTAL!!

Rental hours/days must be arranged at least 2 days in advance, preferably more. The studio is only available during daytime hours, from 10am - 6pm every day (or 11-7 if you prefer). It is not available at night or after 7pm. Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance. If less than 24 hours notice of cancellation is given, then half of the booking fee is required.

Pricing is $45 per hour, or $300 for the day—the day meaning, and limited to, eight hours, unless special arrangements are made.
