Down and Left burst into life in 2013, taking up residence in the newest and most exciting recording studio complex in central London, Denmark Street Studios. With a prime location on this famous London street, a wealth of history and the kind of vibe the gets you excited just by walking through the door, Down and Left at Denmark Street Studios is a unique recording and mix facility.

Our experienced and friendly engineers can help to plan your project and ensure you get the most from your experience here on Denmark Street. We also make the best cup of tea inside the M25.

The studio features includes four separate spaces, including a drum booth, guitar booth and a large vocal booth. The large central space has wood floor and carpeted areas, and sounds great! A vintage grand piano is also available. We have a drum kit permanently wired up so you don’t lose any time at the beginning of your session! The studio boasts a great collection of guitars, basses and vintage amplifiers to suit any project, a selection of preamps & outboard and an excellent range of microphones.

The control room is based around a Mac Pro running Logic and Pro Tools, though projects can be received in almost any format. The system is running a host of plugins and instruments from the likes of Waves, BX Digital and Native Instruments. Monitoring is via Focal Twin 6 BE, Yamaha NS10m and Mackie HR624.
