Description

Balboa is a brand new recording studio in the Glassell Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. We have a solid collection of new and vintage instruments as well as recording equipment (see Gear page for complete list). Key features of the facility include a spacious private covered patio with a barbecue and plenty of seating, a full bath with shower for long work days or early mornings, a separate office and reading room for private moments or breaks, a kitchenette, as well as spacious live and control rooms that can comfortably accommodate large groups. In addition to the main tracking room we have a small Iso/vocal booth and the bathroom is wired for sound well so you can utilize the unique reflective sound of the tile shower. The studio’s one of a kind layout and comfortable aesthetic make for an excellent environment to rehearse, write, track, or mix.

The studio is available for rent on its own to clients if they can supply their own competent engineers or with one of our house engineers/assistant engineers for an additional charge. Additionally the studio can be rented out for small private events, film/photo shoots, artist showcases, and press events.
